I prefer the edt to the parfum, largely on account of what I perceive to be a more prominent incense feature. During warmer weather, my absolute favorites are Boy and 1957 – just amazing overall with great longevity on my skin. Beige was changed already in the edt version and some of my favourite notes suffered in favour of a note I didn’t like too much. EDP is softer, I prefer the EDT version of Sycomore. The EDT lasted, while the EDP does not last. The original scent is there but not quite the same, the power is missing.The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Polge. Top notes are Lemon, Bergamot, Citruses and Green Notes; middle notes are Neroli, Petitgrain and Spicy Notes; base notes are Musk and Tonka Bean. Eau de Cologne was primarily introduced in 1924. As usual with the exclusives, did you smell the edp or the edt? Some have been reformulated in edp, so make sure you smell the edp before buying. This is especially true of rue Cambon. I am oversensitive to some material in the edp because it smells heavy and swampy to me, unlike the gorgeous edt.
