I have been eyeing an older Quartz Aqua Terra 2518.50 with the Gloss black dial, as I do not like the newer quartz model with the gray lines. I have found one online that is from a trusted seller on Amazon (99% positive reviews as far as products being authentic) selling it . Congratulations on your purchase! I didn't know the quartz had been discontinued, but I had thought it would only be a matter of time. The Aqua Terra is a great all-rounder, and the added texture on the dial really gives it some oomph. Enjoy 👍 I would highly recommend the 41mm Seamaster Aqua Terra to anyone looking for a great all-rounder. It can easily be your everyday, every adventure watch. The pros far outweigh the cons for me and my preferences.
I bought an omega seamaster aqua terra quartz about 3 years ago and I love it. I have not systematically checked it for accuracy, but it is easily the most accurate watch I have ever had. I wear the watch all the time doing all sorts .

Without having to spend a small fortune, I found the Seamaster Aqua Terra Quartz that I really like the look of. But I like the idea of an automatic, like my other Omega (and the Tag). Is the Omega Quartz a good idea? Even though Quartz is “less desirable”, it’s arguably better for a daily worn tool watch anyway. Much more accurate than a mechanical and you don’t need to muck around winding it and setting the time if you don’t wear it for a few days.
I have the 39mm, a silver automatic and a blue dial quartz. Both are phenomenal. You can get the quartz for less from Japan mostly, but may require a service and import fees so if you trust the seller and the condition is good and recently serviced- price seems very fair.
I think this series of Omega Aqua Terras fits squarely in the excellent one watch collection category. Plenty of OEM strap options that can dress it up or down, reliable and functional movement, and depending on how you acquire . I have an option on the 39mm quartz and also the 39mm automatic versions, with the auto being about 00 more than the quartz. I would just like to hear some opinions on which direction is best to go in.
