It is easily the better version of the two as the other option is a 45mm model which seems awkwardly large for a Classic Fusion. The titanium case measures 42mm in diameter, is 10.4mm thick, and is 50.4mm long from lug to lug.
The Hublot Classic Fusion 42mm is a masterclass in understated elegance. At the heart of this watch beats an ETA-based movement, meticulously modified by Hublot. While some might argue for an in-house caliber at this price point, the reliability and precision of this movement are undeniable. Each case size for the new range, 33mm, 38mm, and 42mm, leverage the same style and finish. All of the cases have a slender profile 10mm and below – the 33mm cases are 8.5mm thick, the 38mm cases are 9.85mm thick, and the 42mm cases are 10mm thick. To be honest, the 42mm sizing is a bit deceptive, as the inner bezel itself probably measures slightly less than 40mm, and it wears like so. In addition due to the titanium case, the watch is also a joy to be worn on any kind of weather, .

The 42mm titanium case with 9mm thickness makes the entire watch smaller than it meant to be. It feels very light on wrist and thanks to the 9mm thickness of the case, the watch is more classy and stylish. I don't understand why that wasn't the case with this Hublot, as it seems like the crown was also included in measuring the size, along with the two black bezel lugs on the sides. - That is the only way I can see 42mm.
